Set up a Cronus Zen. Load yew2K. Tune it.
One lesson per step, in order: which port is which, firmware 2.3.2, Zen Studio Live, compiling a .gpc, memory slots, your console, then the yew2K NBA 2K27 script, its mod menu, the in-game settings it needs, and a first tuning session in online MyCourt. Every lesson ends with a check so you know it worked.

Syllabus

Each one has a goal, numbered steps, and a check. Skip ahead only if the check for the previous lesson already passes.
Lessons 1–2
Hardware
Ports and firmware. Nothing plugged in wrong.
Lessons 3–5
Zen Studio Live
Compile a .gpc, slot it, Play, read the OLED.
Lessons 6–9
Your console
PS5, Xbox or PC, then the controller into A1.
Lessons 10–13

- 4Compile a .gpc scriptTurn a .gpc file into a compiled script that can go into a memory slot.
- 5Memory slots and PlayPut the compiled script into a slot, press Play, and see the script name on the OLED.
- 6Connect the Zen to a PS5Move the Zen from the PC to the PS5 and pick your slot.
- 7Connect the Zen to an XboxSame as the PS5 lesson, with Xbox button names.
- 8Connect the Zen to a PCPlay on PC through the CONSOLE port, and keep PROG for programming only.
- 9Controller into A1Confirm the controller is on the one port the script can see.
- 10Get yew2K: Generator → download → compileGenerate your own yew2K build on yew.gg, compile it, and see it boot on the Zen.
- 11Open and navigate the mod menuOpen the yew2K menu on the OLED, move between the 25 pages, toggle a mod and fine-tune a millisecond value.
- 12Required in-game settingsSet the NBA 2K27 controller settings the script needs. Two of them decide whether auto-green works at all.
- 13First tuning sessionDial in Auto-Green and Button Rhythm in online MyCourt using one rule: early → raise the value, late → lower it.

What you need
- A Cronus Zen
- The controller you play with
- A PC with Chrome (Zen Studio Live) and Chrome or Edge (firmware updater)
- A PS5, Xbox or gaming PC with NBA 2K27
- yew2K from yew.gg/2k, for Lessons 10–13
Lessons 1–9 work with any script. Lessons 10–13 are specific to yew2K.
What this course is
The setup path for the yew2K mod set
This course documents how to install and start tuning the yew2K NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script. yew2K is generator-based: your settings are compiled into the .gpc you download, and free weekly updates ship through the 2K27 cycle.
What each mod does, every value range and the full menu are covered as far as the lessons need them. For support on your own build, use yew.gg/discord. Hoops, Prime and Green are the 2K26 legacy line on yewscripts.com.

Troubleshooting
When a check fails
- The mod menu won't open
- The OLED shows the Gearhead logo
- Controller not detected in A1
