Ten terms the lessons use

One paragraph each, with the lesson that introduces the term. Nothing here is needed beyond what the lessons already say; this is the quick lookup.

A1 port
The USB port on the front of the Cronus Zen. Your controller plugs in here and nowhere else. If the controller is not in A1 the mod menu will not open.
Lesson 1: Ports
CONSOLE port
Rear USB port that connects the Zen to the PS5, Xbox or PC you play on.
Lesson 1: Ports
PROG port
Rear USB port for programming. It connects to the PC running Zen Studio Live or the web firmware updater.
Lesson 1: Ports
Firmware
The software on the Zen itself. This course references firmware 2.3.2, flashed with the web updater at firmware.modcentral.ca in Chrome or Edge. Zen Studio Legacy 1.7.0 b7 only works for firmware 2.2.14 and older.
Lesson 2: Firmware
Zen Studio Live
The browser app (Chrome recommended, current version 1.0.8) used to compile scripts and load them onto the Zen. Its Compiler tab, eight memory slots and Play button are the only parts this course uses.
Lesson 3: Zen Studio Live
.gpc
A script source file. Zen Studio Live compiles it before it can run. yew2K's .gpc comes from the Generator on yew.gg with your settings already compiled in.
Lesson 4: Compile
Memory slot
One of 8 storage positions on the Zen. A compiled script is dragged into a slot in Zen Studio Live, written with Play, and selected at the console with the Zen's button.
Lesson 5: Slots & Play
OLED
The small screen on the Zen. It shows the script name when a script is loaded and the Gearhead logo when none is. The yew2K mod menu draws here, not on the TV.
Lesson 5: Slots & Play
Mod menu
yew2K's 25-page settings menu on the OLED. Open with L2/LT + Options/Menu; D-pad Left/Right changes page, Up/Down toggles, Cross/A + Up/Down fine-tunes a millisecond value. Changes save automatically.
Lesson 11: Mod menu
Auto-Green
The yew2K mod that times and performs a standstill shot when you click R3. Value 300–900 ms in 5 ms steps. Tuning rule: early → raise, late → lower. Good values land around 70%, not 100%.
Lesson 13: Tuning
